Eric W. Elwell: CEO, Co-founder, and Managing Partner. Eric brings over 15 years of experience in creating and managing small businesses in the finance, real estate and building supply businesses. Two years prior to founding SBS, Eric did extensive research in surveying hundreds of small businesses to understand the frustrations preventing them from being successful and profitable. He found that business owners primarily work in their business and not on their business, which is a key concept of Michael Gerber's E-Myth. As a student of the E-Myth Academy, Eric consults with business owners on how they can use technology to free themselves from mundane tasks of working in the business and instead work on the business to achieve success. He has applied this same methodology to develop and implement turnkey business control systems for SBS. Eric is certified in MS Dynamics Great Plains, MS Retail Management System, Dynamics Small Business Financials, and Dynamics CRM.
Thomas Gunter-Kremers: Co-founder, Partner and Chief Technologist.
Tom is Microsoft Certified Professional with competencies in Microsoft Business Solutions applications of
MS Dynamics Great Plains, Dynamics CRM, RMS Store Operations, and RMS Headquarters. Certified with Microsoft as a Small Business Specialist,
he also has certifications with Microsoft for desktop and server systems, with a specialization in small- and medium-sized businesses networks.
An active member of Rotary International, Tom also has
over seven years' experience in the
ski resort industry, and he is an enthusiastic promoter and
author writing about RFID technology.
