Eric W. Elwell

In the late 1990s Eric was involved heavily in Real Estate both as a Landlord and as a broker of Owner Financed mortgages. By the time early 2000 rolled around the writing on the wall that his future was not in either of these markets was crystal clear.  He was faced with the challenge of a growing family and a financial correction in the market he had cultivated for his mortgage business.  Using the schooling he had received from the E-Myth Academy Eric began the process of reinvention both for himself and the business that would come to be.  He began to visit owners of small businesses with an eye on understanding their key frustrations and stumbled upon a common problem. Most small business owners lacked fast and easy access to the data they needed to make sound decisions about the sales, inventory and management functions of their business.  They were running things by the gut. As the years progressed his new enterprise Small Business Systems was growing slowly but surely both in terms of customers and the product lines offered.  Still something wasn’t quite right. It was difficult to keep customers satisfied and respond to their needs in a timely enough fashion. What was lacking was focus.  In 2009 Small Business Systems decided to focus exclusively on Hospitality Point of Sale and make 2TouchPOS its core effort. The Microsoft practice that was built was sold off and the decision to concentrate all of our energies on a limited set of targets was begun.  Shortly after Cobra Systems sold the 2TouchPOS product line to a new company that was formed called Xenios. The idea behind the name dates back to the days of Zeus who was the god of hospitality. With all his energies concentrated on serving the Bar, Night Club and tavern industries it is our aim to improve the operations of our customers so substantially that they become elevated to the status of Hospitality God.

Kevin brings over 16 years of full life cycle software development, consulting, and sales experience to our fulfillment area. Drawing on his leadership experience as a Solutions Architect and Development team lead for for Paychex, Kevin leads the Xenios fulfillment team and sets the standards for service. Highly skilled as a technical developer, his own certifications include ASP.NET, C#, MS SQL Server, .NET Framework 2.0, Java, and Visual Studio. A graduate of Alfred University, Kevin earned a Master's Degree in Mathematics from Clemson University.
